The idea behind my tile is to collect as much sound as possible and reflect it within the tile as many times as possible be for allowing it to leave. The tile reflects the sound originated from the stage and reflects it 8 times before allowing it to leave. The tile is essentially a spiral that will collect any sound from the lower part of its body and reflect it to the upper part where it reflects a few more times before it is possible for the sound to reflect out. At this point the sound will have been so dampened that it won't actually affect the listener below. The tile will be placed on the ceilings of the theaters where it would be needed. In terms of material, the tile will be made out of a sound resistant plaster board that will absorb to further the absorbent idea.
