Horace Hou: Looking Out Week 5

Vennesla Library in Vennesla, Norway by Architects Helen and Hard. This project represents what is required of our furniture piece. The wooden structural frame of the building comes down to form the bookshelves thus allowing the furniture to blend as part of the building. The exterior ribbing of the building creates a vertical movement that is contrasted but the horizontality of the interior which is really interesting.
