Alexa Roberts Looking Out Week 5

The Assemble Studio in Melbourne has very unique wood accents and features that are simply eye-catching. Assemble, designed and also participated in the actual building of the studio. The ceiling is representative of origami. It is very interesting how they use wood, a very stiff and heavy material, to represent something so lightweight and fragile. The ceiling is also highly functional because it hides pipes, ducts, tubes, fire alarms, and also improves the acoustics.
