The design of my theater varied throughout the project but always consisted of a relationship between ground and ceiling planes. The result was a protruding object that descended from top to bottom in a worm like fashion. This inspired me to make a tile that would do a similar action when multiple tiles were strung together. The result, you can see below, is a single tile joined and offsetted to create a fluctuating surface that holds a similar relationship to the rhythmic ceiling and ground floor relationship. The above drawing shows it in context.
Through the sonic expedition, sound rays appeared to aim downward towards the audience and not forward at the front wall. Based on the results, the multi-faceted object successful added an audio enhancement that controlled the movement of sound waves to some degree.
