create an interesting shadow cast by the sunlight, separate the work and entertainment environment and direct most of the lively sounds coming from the large expansive space. The idea behind the form was to redirect the sound so that people standing in the central space between the theater would be able to hear sounds coming from all directions from the entertainment side. The tile itself is detailed so the that sounds would re-bounce toward the large space instead of traveling down to the more professional environment with less noise and social activities occurring.
The tiles define a curved shape that redirects sound into one central location between the theater.

The entertainment space is located on the south side of the building while the work environment is located on the north side of the building. The tile separates the sound the travels between the theater that way the environments aren't disturbed.
The tiles are constructed with concrete and structurally held up by steel beams.
The form generated by grasshopper, maps the tiles to a certain surfaces giving the tiles a different surface area to deflect sound as it moves from one end of the surface to the other.
