The acoustic feature is part of the ceiling in my smaller theater. The tile is meant to be hanging from a steel frame structure, just like my small theater is hanging over my classroom space. The layout of my cinematek is an open, gallery-like floor plan so the circulation is fluid and continuous. I tried to convey the same idea with the acoustic feature. The tile will be made out of concrete because it is good for sound isolation, and it is also easy to shape.
