The Portland and Ogdensburgh Railroad running right through
facilitated the development of the notch as a resort area. The railroad serves
as a great means of transportation and is the main way to get to the Crawford
Notch. It is a very important part of the Crawford Notch and area.
In addition, I looked at some reviews people gave and how
they experienced the space themselves. Most people commented that the Lodge is
a good place for those serious about mountains and also for those curious to
continue learning about the environment. The space is mostly “green” and there
aren’t many things that are virtual. It “maintains the tradition of mountain
hospitality.”
As their website says: "In the White Mountains’ awe-inspiring Crawford Notch, you’ll
lose all sense of time. With magnificent waterfalls, soaring cliffs, and
surrounding forest, the natural world will draw you in. Hike to nearby peaks or
take a quiet stroll around a mountain lake. Either way, the choice is yours."
This will help my bath house because I realized that I
should continue with that “green” environment and stay away from the virtual.
It should cater to the “serious” and the “curious” simultaneously. In addition,
I should think about where the railroad stop is because it is a very important
aspect of circulation.
