Looking Out Week 3: Kelsey Simpson

Our good friend Zaha Hadid has recently designed a series of interiors for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization dedicated to the care of seriously ill children. Here, the intended spaces will be occupied by the visitng families of those sick children for temporary but extended periods of time. Wooden accents run throughout the rooms mostly growing out from the walls to utilize maximum space. Zaha shows the wonderfully flexible, playful qualities wood has, creating a light and cheery atmosphere through form and material.
