Crawford Notch borders Saco Lake, located in New
Hamphsire. It is one of the many
stops on the length of the Appalachian Trial stretching from Georgia to
Maine. Throughout all kinds of
weather conditions, hikers of all types enjoy the trail and the views
surrounding it including Crawford Notch and Saco Lake. People of all ages, experience levels,
and intentions use the trail thereby making it a very culturally diverse
area. However, at the same time, it
is a modest area with a serene view and atmosphere. This can definitely help me in my design process in deciding
what group of occupants the design is catering for and what kind of atmosphere
they might want in a bath house after their long hike.
