Keith Yeung - Assignment 2

Crawford Notch located at the Appalachian Mountains follows the Saco River through new-growth forest; going from oak and white pine from the lower valley to more birch and spruce trees. Crawford Notch offers many recreational activities such as camping, hiking, picnicking, and fishing. Crawford Notch is well known for its amazing natural scenery generated by the mountains, various amount of tree types set upon a lake view.  The eight mile Crawford Path up to Mt. Washington is consider the oldest and grandest walking trail in the country. Also commonly known to be in the area is the Elephant Head Spur where many panoramic views of the notch, the surround mountains, the old railroad depot. and the former Crawford House site are obtained. Among many falls in the natural  environment, there is the Ripley Falls Trail that many families consider visiting.
