Carter Nelson: Looking Out Week 03

The interior of an old water tower in the Netherlands has been transformed by Zecc Architecten. Located at a national park, the staircase serves an observation deck that overlooks the park. The use of wood within the cold concrete structure gives a degree of warmth and really highlights the materials used in this interior. The staircases bounce up the walls of the cylindrical water tower interior in a way that engages someone who engages with this project.
