Carter Nelson: Assignment 01

Here are some diagrams of my egg racer. I will 3D print the central connection element and laser-cut the branches that encase the egg. Nothing will be glued, but I have placed holes at the end of the laser-cut branches which I plan to either put an elastic string or piece of yarn through depending on performance once the pieces are physically realized. The design strives to be a sort of flexible cage that can bend, cushion the egg, and absorb shock by being somewhat elastic.
