This piece of architecture was designed by Yamazaki Kentaro who wanted it to be "an open container that changes as you design and live in it". This house is often referred to as the "Unfinished House" as it barely has any walls. There are four two storey boxes that surround a two storey atrium. The atrium is the as the living and dining rooms. The other boxes can used for various different activities as they are unprogrammed spaces.
