Wood is a very versatile material. There is a lot of joinery techniques that one can explore while working with wood. I have been working with wood for the past four years and I have noticed that every time I was able to use the material in a way that best complemented my concept or design.
Scott Smith's class on wood and wood, wood and metal joints was very helpful in understanding traditional methods of using wood.
