ARCHICINE
Illustrations done by Frederico Babina

Architect Frederico Babina based in Barcelona did this series of illustration that relate architecture to cinema called the 'ArchiCine'. It is focused on the spatial relation between too. What I thought was interesting was the idea that we all have been struggling with in our theatre design which is the idea that movies have the ability to transport the viewers into a different realm where we lead different lives only if for a brief time. So he sees architecture in the imagination of a few important directors in the history of cinema.
