This is a project by Catherine Op de Beeck made of concrete and driftwood. I love the simplicity, pureness, and composition of the pieces in this project. I thought the use of wood as accent or ornament was interesting and refreshing as it did so gracefully and although it is not necessary it does not detract from the piece, in fact its a perfect touch of gracefulness to decrease the brutality of the concrete block.
