Patrick Dougherty makes nest-like structures by weaving plants as they grow into incredible pieces of art and architecture. They have an almost eerie quality to them in the wispy and fluid shapes he creates. His work which he calls, "stickwork", is inspired by his love of nature and carpentry as well as primitive methods that he uses to create his pavilions and other pieces of installation artwork.
